Delete the printer driver and reinstall it using the INF file. Open the Devices and Printers window and delete the unknown device. (See 'How to open the Devices and Printers window'.) Run the Printer Driver Uninstaller to delete all printer driver information from your computer. 1 – Open the Device Manager. 2 – Right-click on an unknown device and click Properties. 3 – Click the Driver tab. 4 – Click Uninstall. 5 – Click Action Scan for hardware changes. If the stars are properly aligned and it isn’t Friday the 13th, Windows just might find the device, recognize it, and install the correct driver for it. Many times installing different device drivers will solve a number of connectivity or compatibility issues.
